Our leadership TEAM

Guy Chaffin is the President & Chief Executive Officer of Elite Search International. In his role, he is responsible for vision, profitability, and team prosperity.  His vision is to bring as much talent as possible to the best alternative power companies in the world.  To realize this vision, Guy is actively involved in coaching and building the Senior Management he works with.  With over 16 years experience consulting and placing officer level talent Guy is one of the most knowledgeable Senior Management Consultants working his specialty.

Guy has been quoted as an industry expert on CEO’s by both Dow Jones News Wires and StreetInsider.com.  He has recruited management talent for early stage startups as well as Fortune 20 companies.

Prior to his career in recruiting, Guy developed over 500 units of apartments, 2 housing developments totaling 128 home sites, and several small commercial developments.  He also developed a small chain of video retail outlets.  He exited this business with a sale to publicly traded Hollywood Video.®

James partners with ESI from time to time on Senior Managment searches.  His area of expertise is in PV, CPV, Thin Film, and Gen 3 technologies.  James works at all levels within the organization helping to build entire departments.

James has been in sales for over 25 years.  He was in the top 1% of all real estate agents in CA for several years prior partnering with ESI as an independent consultant.

James has the ability to close and get results.  In recruiting talent, nothing else really matters if the candidate doesn’t accept an offer.  Having helped over several hundred families make what is often the largest single investment they will ever make; James understands the stress and concerns that candidates face when making a career change.  He applies this knowledge to every candidate and search he undertakes.

James has led, as a volunteer, one of the areas largest youth football and cheer programs for over seven years.  He took over a program on the verge of bankruptcy and turned it into the envy of the area.  He helps over 300 kids grow and participate in sports and cheer every year.

Paul Woodward is an accomplished professional with a successful track-record in the corporate world as well as within the entrepreneurial environment. He has a proven understanding of, and ability to identify and recruit top talent.

As President and CEO of Bains & Woodward Insurance Services, Inc., Paul and his business partner “bootstrapped” their company from conception, solicitation of funding, formulation of the business plan, and ultimately the execution of that plan while driving Bains and Woodward’s growth from 1 to eventually 4 offices serving three markets and generating over $2,000,000 in annualized new business premiums.

After the successful acquisition and integration of his agency into its new parent company, Paul continued to work closely with the senior management team, ultimately adding over 50 employees between 16 locations within 15 months.

Paul has since joined the ESI team and now is leveraging his early-career commercial construction experience with his proven talent acquisition skills to place in various roles within the high voltage engineering, commercial construction and utility spaces.

Jessica has over 15 years experience in business management within the recruiting industry.  She joined ESI in the fall of 1998.  During her tenure with the company she has held additional positions of responsibility in finance, accounting, and operations.

Prior to joining ESI, Jessica managed a million dollar business where she was responsible for all operations and reported directly to the founder.  Under her leadership the company had double digit increases in both profit and sales in each of the years she was there.

Jessica is not all work and no play.  When she is not creating the systems that enable the growth and success of ESI, she is volunteering her time in helping out organizations that she's passionate about.  Currently she's serving as a volunteer business consultant for a start up pediatric health day clinic.  In the past she has served on the board of the American Liver Foundation and is currently on the board of the Whitney Jr. Wildcats Youth Football and Cheer program serving as Secretary/Registrar.
